Winning The Web's $8,500 Contest

Author: Jim | Filed under: Contests

The world of “make money online” blogging has reached its breaking point. More blogs are turning to contests than ever before, which is a major drag on competition for upstart blogs, but an amazing advantage for readers! It seems that the best way to boost readership, subscribers and our overall traffic is to offer some sort of bribe to your readers. While this should not be a sacrifice for good content, blogging contests are more popular than ever!

Normally, I would not sell my soul to advertise another website’s contest. But I feel that NOT mentioning our friends at WinningTheWeb.com’s “Craziest Internet Marketing Contest You’ve Ever Seen,” a contest with a combined monetary value at an estimated $8,692, would be unfair to you readers. As much as I hate to talk about competitors’ contests, there is no way you should be passing this opportunity by. After all, the Net Fool dot com is all about making YOU money online isn’t it? :D

Let’s cut right to the chase, here is a sample of the best parts of the prize list:

  • Cash Prizes:
    • $650 Cash from Azoogle Ads
    • $500 Cash from PepperJam Network
    • $250 Cash from NeverBlueAds
    • $200 Cash from Bidvertiser
  • Web Hosting Packages:
    • 1-Year “Swamp Plan” web hosting from HostGator.com
  • Advertising:
    • Sponsored listing & upgraded membership from BlogCatalog
    • 1-Month 125×125 Banner ad from JohnCow.com
  • Blog Designing and Coding:
    • (2) Exclusive Blog Theme from Unique Blog Design
    • (2) Revolution WordPress Theme from Brian Gardener
  • Affiliate Marketing Tools:
    • 1-Year membership to Hlola
    • 2-Year Subscription to GoStats Pro

The rest of the prizes are really just water under the bridge when they are put against the great prizes mentioned above. So essentially, if you own a blog, you want to have a chance to win one of these prizes.

There are plenty of ways to enter this contest, including commenting, posting about the contest, adding the author to your Twitter follow-list and more. You can find out all of the details by visiting the contest at Winning The Web. With all of these great prizes up for grabs, you can’t afford to miss this contest, despite the fact that I think it is in poor taste. Good luck! ;)
