Treasure Trooper: Treasure Hunt Revealed – Part 2

Author: Jim | Filed under: GPT Insider

Treasure Trooper has repeatedly come at me because of this guide, but I think this is a bit ironic because I did nothing against policy. If they figured this would deter me from releasing part 2, they were wrong! I do this for you readers, so you don’t have to struggle through the $100 Treasure Hunt. This week, part two of the $100 Treasure Trooper Treasure Hunt. Acts 7 through 13 are up for bid, click the images to enlarge them… and away we go!

Act Seven – Stopped On A Bridge… Again
It’s back to the drawing board after they take your treasure map away. This is starting to get old. You need to scrape up another 20 golden coins in order to continue. At this point, you really need to be racking up golden coins. I suggest the cheap 50 cent free offers to maximize your “coinage.” And yes, you are back where you started in Act 1.

Act Eight – A Change Of Fate
The native tries to throw you over the bridge again, but some monkey comes out of nowhere and kills him. I wish I was making this up, haha, but yes a random monkey makes an appearance. Good news is that you get 7 of your 20 golden coins back, nice! This act is in the books, keep going on to act nine… but don’t you dare spend those coins, you are going to need them. Continue on.

Act Nine – Mabutu Wants More!
Alright, rolling right along. We are feeling good after getting some coins back, aren’t we? WRONG! Mabutu wants another 40 coins for the treasure map that Clara took from you. This one is gonna take awhile. At this point you may be thinking, wow I wish I never even started this. Indeed, they go way overboard in making users complete all of these tasks… but if you want the $100 be my guest. Cash in those 40 golden coins for the map and move onward!

Act Ten – The Lake of Dreams Takes Its Toll
You make some great progress in getting to the next location on the treasure map. Unfortunately, the fun runs out here. Hopefully, you resisted the urge to spend and pearls you make have acquired by completing offers to get your 40 golden coins in act nine. 15 pearls is the demand this time. This means an average of 45 offers completed, this isn’t a walk in the park, especially if you are unlucky. Grab 15 pearls, throw them into the lake, and continue on.

Act Eleven – A Mermaid’s Heart
Now that you have given away all of your hard earned golden coins and pearls, you find that the mermaid in the lake want a gem… the sapphire. Why? Well you will need the fourth journal page in order to find out. As always, there is a nonsense reasoning attached to the trooper page that tells you a sapphire is a frozen heart of a mermaid. So get the page for 10 coins, and get the sapphire by completing $100 worth of offers. Now if you have been doing credit card offers, it shouldn’t be much of a problem… otherwise you may have some work to do.

Act Twelve – Another Act, Another Ridiculous Request
Okay, so you are probably wondering what else can they throw at you right? Well now that you are at a cave entrance, you need a lantern that Mabutu conveniently is selling at the entrance to see around. Personally, I’d rather wander in the dark because the going rate is a hefty 15 platinum coins. Platinum coins come few and far between. So you either do credit card offers, or you do 30 of the one-half platinum coin freebies. Make up your mind, and enter that cave.

Act Thirteen – A Painful Finale
Act 13! This is the last one… excited? Well maybe you shouldn’t be. The lantern dies down and the prompt informs you that you need some sort of “light source” to continue. Of course, you have to purchase the fifth page to find out what this means. Duh duh duhhh…. its the Amethyst, and you need 15$ in cash shopping earned to complete this. WOW. This is daunting and impossible for most people, and when the moderators claim you do not need a credit card to complete the treasure hunt, I suppose they are disregarding this act entirely. Most sites pay back a meager 5% on purchases. This means that getting $15 will require a substantial $300 dollar purchase. Have fun!

Now you can see why anyone who tells you that this treasure hunt can be completed without a credit card by anyone is a complete fabrication. There is just no way. For a $100 reward, you need to spend about $300 on cash shopping, complete 10 surveys, refer 3 friends, complete $100 in offers, collect 15 platinum coins, 23 pearls and a whopping 128 golden coins. So judge for yourself if $100 is worth all of that.

I read your guide and decided to give it up at first, but then I got all of the relics and slot prizes and now I’m back on it. Just need the amythest and many gold coins! Also, does anyone know what feeding Mabutu’s family does? I’m sure if you do it you’ll get something…

I wish I had seen all the stuff you have about TT before I tried TT. I could have saved myself a lot of time and frustration. As far as what is offered at TT its fine, plenty to do there. I didn’t make enough to get paid (my choice so that no harm could come to me while I checked it out), I just wanted to see what it was about. I’ve never done GPT before. The thing that made me leave TT after about 3 weeks was mainly their attitude and they just seemed cagey about almost everything which put me in worry of what they would do on the 1099 form for tax reporting. I have no doubt that they pay on time and consistantly and all that, but I just could not put up with the drama stuff. I think I might try a couple of other GPT places you recommend. I’m not looking for much, just a meager supplement to my F/T income which could use the help. I have no doubt that TT could have provided that rather well, but to me personally it wasn’t worth putting up with the attitude and the cagey feeling I was getting.

I just recently finished this treasure hunt and I found that they have changed the number of referals you need to get in order to get the emerald in act 6. You now need at least 5 (Five) referals that have at least completed 1 offer, and if you now click the emerald gem (if you already got it) under the “my treasure” that’s exactly what it tells you. Also, as many have already stated you need the diamond in act 15 order to get the chest open, I had to get a credit card offer to get the diamond, and many others have too, but I don’t know Credit Card for diamond is always the trend. You also stated in act 13 that you need a “whopping 128 golden coins” but the truth to be told is that one needs 188 golden coins for the complete the whole treasure hunt if you start at the bottom ground. That’s not including the cash shopping, 15 platinum, 10 surveys and 23 perals.

Here is the break down of golden coins one needs for the whole treasure hunt…

    -6 Journal Pages – 60 coins
    -4 map pieces- 40
    -Ruby – 15
    -Act 1- 20
    -Act 7 and 8- 13
    -Act 9 – 40
    Total = 188 golden coins

The four prizes from the slot machine are said to give you 100$ I’m not so sure I believe that though.

Unfortunately the Pitney Bowes offer is no longer available.

On a good note, you can get your platinum coins by doing the Quiz Jungle offers. There are 30 of them for 1/2 platinum coin each. They are good crediting offers.

You can also get gold coins by completing the Quiz Rocket offers. They are also good crediting offers. I have a 100% approval rating on those.

Yeah, I never bothered with the Treasure Hunt, the Topaz kept me from ever wanting to try. Can’t believe they also want all those coins and pearls as well, what a rip.

Alec- Feeding Mabutu’s family does nothing. I donated a dollar to his family because I figured I would get something out of it. Nope. It really was JUST a donation. And a message saying “Mabutu promises not to buy booze with it”. I would rather he bought the booze… Then at least one of us would have gotten something out of it. lol

  10. Alec February 4, 2009 at 7:47 pm #

Squish – Thanks, I’m still guessing that if you donate a certain amount, you’ll get some sort of reward out of it, but if you don’t get anything the first time you do it, I’ll keep my money. Besides, me and Mabutu aren’t on good terms, everytime I’m on treasure trooper getting ready to play the slots or something, someone behind me sees his half naked body and he starts blurting out the same “Welcome to Mabutu’s Trading Hut!”. Its really akward…

I have a question about the 5 referrals you need for the hunt. Can they be bought referrals or do they have to come through your link?

    • Mel February 12, 2009 at 10:26 am #

Like bought referals from pearls? Bought referals work from pearls work, but as long as those people do an offer, it took like 30 referals from pearls until I got gem. Some ppl takes more or less.

Also you can refer yourself using proxies, just make new TT accounts under your referal link of your real account using USA proxies registar under a random real address you find from google maps or something, and do an $.50 offer or two until the account gets credit then log out, once you log out never log back in to that account. This method worked for me, however, if you do this method, make sure to space it out in weeks and have some pearl refeals to make it more realistic. when making new accounts, their capchas are anti-proxies so some proxy programs wont work, but keep lookin some will.

I still prefer mountain riches over treasure trooper, they’re much smaller and pay way more per offer. This is just way to much.. they trick you on the idea that you don’t have to pay anything.

I just can’t bring myself to do the treasure hunt. I think I’d rather just hang on to everything I’ve made thus far.
