Yes, promoting their affiliate program is quite a profitable idea as well. Concerning the link building, as long as one uses this program to get limited number of links is good. Otherwise he risks a google penalty or something like that.

I haven't tried them before, I may try them out on an alternate site in the future. However, I don't like that I've received spam comments linking to their site. Hey Jim,
I’ve always been impressed with TNX. But lately, I had been taken a little aback since the last PR update. Usually, I’m into selling Ads rather than buying. But sites that offered paid links went down the PR drain. SO that’s a bit scary.
But I second your opinion of it being a great asset for advertisers.
