Hi Jim!

And a very happy generic to you too!

However it raises the question for me; "What do I 'got to do' to not be Generic?"

There is an idea lurking in the dark part of my synapses that has been getting more insistent all day, and it is that what I must aim for is to "always give it my best shot". Two good reasons:
1. I can put myself to bed at night with a feeling that my day actually was well spent; and,
2. I really believe that there is a valuable long term dividend in posting quality content. I know for sure that I am never tempted to return to blogs with Generic content; and I want my readers to feel that it would be worth their while to come back another day.

Money biases many people. We can't deny that but can have some control over it. That will be the best outcome.

Interesting, but not every blogger does this, there are some that do not, most of my posts do not try to sell anything, just give useful information.

Hahaha, yeah man, I actually agree and thinks it's inevitable that you will put out what is labeled as a "general" post to someone. You laid out the basic structure of most blog posts, it's a "template" lol.

What really makes the difference, is when you put that "net fool spin" on things or, whomever the blogger is. The thing that really sucks, is when people take a general style post from "the net fool" and structure theirs in the same way, with the same tone...basically, a copy cat :)

Though it don't count for me, I copy you all the time!

hmmm, did someone get offended lol. I was merely stating a point, but thanks for the links! I just hate to see people throwing out generalizations...when the fact is, there is nothing new under the sun, it's just new to someone else.

You know a lot that many don't know, however, there will always be stuff you know, that other people know as well. Like you said, it's when it's filtered through your own thought patterns.

Some messages and ideas never change, and still hold true. Those may be what you label "generic" I guess.

Out of those two links...I'm sure someone could say both are "lose" and someone could say they both give advice. It just depends on the audience and the person. Nothing I said in either is anything new, or exotic, just my thoughts on different things as they happen to me or as I benefit from them.

Again, thanks for the links though buddy
