Jimvesting's Fight to End Poverty – Blogging Winner Announced!

It’s about that time!
Our February contest has come to a close, and after going through all of the entries for the blogging portion of this competition, we’ve got our winner! Before we get into the announcement, I’d like to build up some suspense give a quick refresher on what the contest was really all about.
Motive Interactive & Jimvesting Team Up!
This competition was entirely sponsored by the great folks over at Motive Interactive, one of my favorite affiliate networks… and a company that any serious internet marketer (or aspiring marketer) needs to be signed up with. After all, getting on board to earn some money with these folks is 100% free and only takes a minute of your time. The benefits of signing up? Other than the fact 
that their managers ill pamper you with interesting niche offers to try out whenever you ask, you’ll be opening up your options and will be able to shop around a lot better as a marketer looking for the best paying advertisement. Jimvesting dot com teamed up with the great managers at Motive Interactive to bring a contest providing for an eventual end to homelessness in the United States. Poverty is definitely a big problem that many of us have experienced firsthand, and all of you that participated helped us take another step closer to the solution… so a big thank you to everyone who participated!
The Prizes
We wrote about this competition all the way back at the end of January, leading into the start of February of 2009. Everyone who won a prize not only scored themselves some free gear, but also got a matched donation from Motive Interactive. For this reason, we had a great month that really took another step toward reducing domestic poverty. There was tons to win, including a Vizio 37″ LCD TV, an ASUS EeePC 1002HA notebook computer and even an XBox 360 Elite! More importantly, anyone who wanted to blog about the contest or participate here had a shot at a brand new 8GB iPod Nano.
So who won that Nano, eh?
Outside of our main prizes, you also will have the chance to win an awesome new 8GB iPod Nano. These things are much better than their predecessors in my opinion, as they not only have the compact size… but now can play videos on an upgraded screen!
There are a few ways to win the blogger prize, and there will be a random drawing to select the winner:
- Ten Entries: Sign Up with Motive Interactive and confirm/verify your account
- Five Entries: Subscribe to Jimvesting.com via email subscription RSS
- Fifteen Entries: Write a 500+ word post on your blog about this contest
- Ten Entries: Promote this competition on your blog with a 125×125 banner ad
- 1/2 Entry: Leave a comment anywhere on this blog (must be a real comment!)
- Five Entries: Promote the competition by “Stumble”ing or “Digg”ing this post
- Ten Entries: Subscribe to the new Jimvesting dot com newsletter
Clearly, there were a lot of ways to get some entries into this competition… and the reason that I am so backed up in posting this announcement is that counting up all of the entries took a considerable amount of time. In fact, we had over 625 total entries into this competition! Of course, many of you had multiple entries, so the odds of winning were significantly different depending on how much effort you put into it.

Wow! Such great prize! I wish I had been able to participate in the contest more, but the new affiliate ones I do not have as much time for as the old traditional promotion contests. But huge congratulations to Big Ben Patton, I know he had a great comeback in February, hopefully the trend is still going strong.

I also support to remove the poverty, and i also like music but i don’t use ipod i always use my cellphone but after see this nice 8gb smart ipod i use it.
