ShoeMoney.com Spoof – Jeremy Schoemaker: Guest Star on 'MTV Cribs'
Author: Jim | Filed under: Spoof BloggingI had a pretty interesting weekend over these past few days. After cashing a few of my latest internet marketing checks off at the bank, I had to sell my old Hummer and get a used Hummer H2 model to save some fuel. I really racked up a lot of costs over the past few years in the economic boom time, from a sweet outdoor pool to my old gas guzzler. Before that even happened, I got a call from MTV… they wanted to interview me on “MTV Cribs” this week!
My New (Used) Hummer H2
The newer Hummer H2 was noticeably bigger than the used model I picked up from Craigslist. The seller, “tnetfool” told me that he had only driven the car once, and it was fresh off the Hummer lot. Because I am broke after the recent market crash (I had everything invested in Lehman Brothers), I really didn’t have a choice but to hand over the keys to my old ride and step into the luxurious used H2.

It’s going to be a tough year ahead financially… I’m just glad that I can still ride in style down main street, picking up girls in the “ShoeMobile” as I like to call it. The transaction went pretty smooth; so while I was hesitant to buy a car using Craigslist… everything turned out for the best.
ShoeMoney on MTV Cribs!
This is pretty exciting news, as I definitely wasn’t expecting to be featured on MTV any time soon. Moreover, I feel like most of their other celebrities were dead broke after the recent market collapse. Unfortunately for them, I’m pretty darn poor now myself. Regardless, here’s the call transcript when I first heard the good news.
MTV: Hello is this Jeremy Schoemaker?
Me: Yes, Can I ask who’s calling?
MTV: This is MTV, with MTV Cribs.. how are you today?
Me: Oh great, great… I’m doing well, and you?
MTV: Fine. I wanted to know if you can guest start on MTV Cribs this weekend?
Me: Hmm… that’s going to be awful tough to fit in between the two one-paragraph blog posts that I promised myself I would write over the next couple of days.
MTV: I understand that you are busy, but we are prepared to offer you $600k to do the show.
Me: Cool! That’s almost as much as I make in a day online!
MTV: … I’ll take that as a yes?
Me: As long as I don’t have to dress up in normal-people clothes… fine by me.
MTV: Thank you Jeremy, we’ll be there at 6pm for shooting.
Sounds like a good time, right? Well as it turns out, MTV has been cutting their staffing budgets and camera technology as well… so the show really isn’t as good as it used to be. In fact, they made me film it myself… which was pretty difficult to pull off. At any rate, it turned out pretty well and i got to showcase all of my neat ShoeMoney gear to the world. Check it out and leave a comment!

this is HILARIOUS! great job, the post and the video. i think the shoetoilet was my favorite. thanks for the grins this rainy morning.
Yo Cribs,
Can I order that toilet from you direct? I want one sooo bad, I’m holdin’ it.
If I try to save a buck and put a ShoeMoney logo on my own toilet would I be violating any copyright, or would that fall under “Fair Use”?
I’m Rich
I am still to recover from my laughing fit. Congratulations. Well done.

Hi Jim,
For a moment I forgot I were on your site and thought I were in Shoemoney´s, lol.
Really funny spoof, you should consider to become a comedian or at least write a new JimFunnyBlog.com, lol
That was a great spoof. It is actually one of the better ones that I have seen on the Internet. I will definitely have to put in a good word for you. Some of these spoofs has been so crappy but this definitely upped it one level.
I absolutely love your spoof videos. I think you should keep these up! One of my favorites ideas, by far!
Ha love it. Put the logo everywhere like the pool. Nice Shoe will enjoy I”m sure.
Dude, you have got a spark for this spoof thing. Very creative stuff. Bravo!
Interesting how he got the logo in the pool.
you have a winner on your hand here….
Haha!!! Dude, I love the way it was all worked up into the video. haha! Good question though, how did he get the logo in the tub of water? Great video! I was laughing my butt of on the school shuttle on the way home! lol!
“that’s going to be awful tough to fit in between the two one-paragraph blog posts that I promised myself I would write over the next couple of days.”…..LMAO, the truth IS funny!
That was funny. You’ve done a great job, Jim.
Holy crap a machine that does his dishes!
By far the best spoof. nice job with the spoofing this week.
You are going to get so much more traffic from now on…because you’ve shot everyone else down in flames.
Dave
Good stuff Jim! Hahaha, that one was freakin hilarious! Great job buddy! Keep it up!
lol two one paragraph posts..
wow I hope shoemoney isn’t as incredibly conceited as he sounds. that’s pretty awesome though that he get’s shown on MTV cribbs, when a blogger is popular offline, it’s always cool. It’d be so awesome to be recognized one day in a store as blogger of so and so site. Our country is quickly going to that point where a blogger will be up there with the movie stars.

Awesome video
I was hoping the fridge would open and show a cake with the logo in icing on it
