Yes you can certainly do that. Over the long run, if you are in a sole proprietorship and get hit with a lawsuit… they can essentially sue you for everything you are worth. If it was a corporation… they can only seize assets belonging to the company, so you can imagine how that may save you

Other than getting limited liability, is there any reason to run an eBusiness as an LLC or S-Corp rather than simply as a sole proprietorship? I can see in the long term why a specific business entity would be beneficial, but is it okay to operate as a sole proprietor for the first few months?
