Editor’s Note: Although this is a sponsored post, the thoughts in this article are 100% my opinion, not swayed by payment.

The GPT world is filled with a lot of startup websites, most of which will run for small periods of time before shutting down. With that being said, it’s a little difficult to find a program that is going to hang around with the industry leaders. Recently, I came across a website called ProfileReward – a pretty interesting take on the “get paid to” programs in that it relies on social media rather than simple individual participation to get paid. Now, I must add that it doesn’t exactly rely on having a social media profile which was a bit confusing to me, but it’s still an interesting take on the typical GPT site.

How GPT Programs Work

Since I haven’t spoken about these programs in quite a while, when we start with a simple description of how these programs work. there’s an advertiser out there that needs to get their product out to the market, occasionally they use what are called “affiliate sales.” What this means is that companies essentially higher middlemen to sell their product for them, giving them a small percentage of the profits along the way. In this way, companies are able to sell more of their product and they were originally able to – so is essentially a win-win situation.

What a “get paid to” program does is essentially insert a middleman between the middleman. In other words, these companies go out and collect affiliate offers, store them all in one place and give you the opportunity to complete the offers yourself (that, or share the link with your own friends and capitalize on their referral). What happens now is that the GPT company receives the full affiliate commission fromthe client, however they give you a percentage of that gain so that both parties profit in the end. While you could theoretically go straight to the company and receive the full commission, the idea is that with more offers on the table, you will receive a better total benefit. These “get paid to” companies, therefore, make the affiliate market more efficient.

How ProfileReward Stacks Up

The first thing I noticed when I went to ProfileReward.com was that they have a very refreshing website template. It’s always nice to have a website that focuses on making the aesthetics clean, because you will likely be spending quite some time on the website. This is a website that has a lot of potential, and while I would recommend a slow and steady strategy when it comes to completing offers (because they have not had any track record of paying)… what I’ve seen so far is very promising. Currently, they are going through the process of adding offers, so there are sadly only around 20 right now to choose from. I’d imagine that this number increases dramatically over the next month. On the bright side, this does show you that the owner is showing discretion over which offers to take and which to leave out, which is always a good thing.

one of the best things about ProfileReward that they have a very extensive list of tutorials. In addition, they had a very young support  forum that could prove to be very useful in the future once business picks up. When you are looking for a new “get paid to” program, one of the first things that you should be considering is how much support they have. I would say that ProfileReward definitely ranks among the best, and is the particular area that they excel the most. In addition to the support features, the overall structure of the website is very easy to navigate and understand. They have a few bonus programs and even some contests running to encourage you to spend more time filling out offers. In other words, they’re really doing all they can at this point to attract new people to the website.

My Overall Conclusion

I have a pretty solid history of figuring out which “GPT” programs will make it, and which will end up failing. It is of the utmost importance that if you put time into completing offers, you can be assured that you will be getting paid at the end. Due to a lack of history of payments, it would be impossible for me to flat-out recommend ProfileReward as a place that you should pursue. However, I think that the owner has put a lot of time into the program, and even taking the initiative to go out to other websites and purchase reviews (like this one) is a step in the right direction.I say register an account at ProfileReward, fill out a few offers and see if they pay – because if they do, you will likely be getting a better payout here than at most other websites due to the relative age of the company.

Going through a lot of my methods of making money online, you may have noticed that a majority of the techniques involve buying a domain name at some point. True, when you are dealing with online businesses it is essential to have that winning website address that is going to sit on top of the Google search rankings and ring in your customers’ heads when they visit.

The only problem? Most good domain names are taken.

Our old solution to this method was to manually go to a website like GoDaddy.com, NameCheap.com or 1and1.com and search the name’s availability one by one. However, more recently I have come across a website called PC Names that let’s you do everyone in one shot — without even reloading the page!

As you can see by the video, PCNames.com is a very cool tool that will save you a boatload of time. Let’s get into a few of the pros/cons below.

Pros

I think that this service has a lot to offer, but a few of the best features are:

  • Real-time search engine results
  • Quickly see what is available / taken / for sale
  • Keep track of your results, history and favorites with a interactive list
  • A free and extensive database of reviews for all of the major domain registrars
  • Additional tools like Bulk Lookup, Mobile App and Domain Generator

Cons

There aren’t a whole lot of drawbacks, but a few that I found are:

  • The mouse-over feature on domain names doesn’t always load correctly
  • The website is packed with affiliate ads (though heck, it is a business)
  • Some of the additional “tools” on the site could be more expansive

In all, I was really excited when I came across this website as I think it is going to save a lot of my clients a TON of time as they try to build their own media empires or place investments online. It is 100% free to use and as long as you can avoid over-paying through their affiliate links… I think that this could be the one-stop shop for people looking to do a little late-night domain name research.

Stay bullish my friends.

The following is a sponsored post brought to you by Jimvesting.com. The opinions in this article are entirely unbiased and reflect my own views.

If you are an avid reader of this blog, you know that I use and recommend HostGator as your primary web host. However, I like to be unbiased and try to get you the best solution to make your business tick — so I welcomed the opportunity to take a look at an up-and-comer, Web Hosting Hub! Let’s get into it.

All About WebHostingHub.com

Is this a new business? Yes. HOWEVER, the service at WebHostingHub.com is absolutely phenomenal, the prices are fantastic and the whole team is made up of very motivated and professional individuals who want to help you. Some of the top features include:

  • Fast Setup with a Web Builder and WordPress
  • Free Domain Name Registration
  • Unlimited Web Space, Bandwidth, Email, and More
  • Reliable with 99.9% Uptime
  • Low Price and 90 Day Money Back Guarantee
  • Top-notch US-based 24/7 technical support

If there is one word to describe this web hosting company, it is reliability. User reviews are off the charts and the uptime guarantee has really proven itself with superior server stability. Here’s what one user had to say:

“I am in the process of developing my web page and have been very pleased with Web Hosting Hub’s features and with their exceptional customer service. Having access to technical support 24/7 is a real time saver. The tutorials they offer exceed my expectations. I give them my highest recommendation.”

Want to Set Up a Blog?
Web Hosting Hub is a perfect solution for anyone to get up and running, and they will give you EVERYTHING for the low price of $4.95/month. A lot of people have asked me about recommendations for the Thirty Day Blog series… and I think HostGator is a great move, but WebHostingHub.com might be just the alternative that gets you started for less!

Bottom Line: Web Hosting Hub is a pretty new web host, but all the reviews I have seen have been incredibly positive. The support is terrific and the features are plentiful — if you want hosting at the right price, take a look at the Hub.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of TheInternetTimeMachine. All opinions are 100% mine.

As you probably know by now, one of the most difficult parts of making money online is determining what is “hot” and what is “not.” This is where The Internet Time Machine comes into play. With this tool you can find profitable niches before the competition. In turn, you can make your money before the market becomes saturated.

Who Developed The Internet Time Machine?

The Internet Time Machine was developed by NowRelevant – a search engine, unlike others, that offers “every written word about a subject for the past 14 days.”

Why Niche Marketing is Important

If you have ever gone through the niche research process, you know that it can be very time consuming. Not only do you have to spend time finding the right niche, but you then have to play the guessing game, wondering if you made a good decision. Subsequently, many new affiliate marketers give up before they ever really get started. And many of those who don’t give up make another poor decision: promoting products in the same niche as 99 percent of their competition.

With The Internet Time Machine this is no longer a problem that you have to worry about. How does it work? Simply put, the application does all the leg work for you. The end result is a list of topics that are increasing in demand, but have yet to hit the mainstream.

According to The Internet Time Machine website, the process for gathering information is as follows:

The Internet Time Machine is a series of high powered cloud computer networks that linked together to study internet keyword trends. At any one time this series of computers, what we call The Internet Time Machine, charts the search trends AND RESULTS of over 42,000,000 keywords. The Time Machine can chart what words are grabbing more search volume every month, every week, every day, and every hour.

What makes The Internet Time Machine different from similar programs? While others have just become involved with keyword research, the brains behind The Internet Time Machine have been charting trends for many years. This allows for more accurate results, and in turn a better chance of success for you – the user.

Finding Trends

There are three main components of the system:

1. Most Recent Mentions from the Last 24 Hours

Get the Latest Keyphrases used in PPC Ads, and mentioned on BLOGS, NEWS GROUPS, and MAILING LISTS across the GLOBE!

2. Potential Trends from the Last 24 Hours

Get the Latest Information about Keyphrases being searched for on Multiple Search Engines like Google, Yahoo, BING, Ask and others.

3. ITM Core Trend Analysis

The ITM uses proprietary, state-of the-art search analysis algorithms to identify hot new prodcut areas and niches that are developing worldwide. We monitor increase search volumes over time in topics and look to see where supply, organic or PPC, is not keeping up with demand. These are long term product development ideas.

The Internet Time Machine $20k Internet Marketing Contest

The Internet Time Machine is holding a contest in which $10k is awarded to the winner, and another $10k to the affiliate that refers him.

In the olden days, when dinosaurs walked the Internet, starting a web log was a monumental undertaking. By the time Peter Merholz coined the term “blog,” the situation had improved considerably. In fact, there is a whole subset of hosting called blog hosting. A blogger no longer needs an advanced skill set in order to start a blog. However, he/she still has to decide upon blog platform.

WordPress is probably the best blog platform solution for most people. It is new-user tweaked with an embarrassment of riches when it comes to free plug-ins, themes, widgets and apps. Because of its ease of set-up and broad platform functionality, WordPress is also the choice of the top hosting companies. For this purpose, we’ll focus on WordPress hosting.

To choose top web hosting, there are a few questions the blogger needs to ask himself. Can you set-up your own script? Do you know how to customize it to run correctly? Do you know where to locate quality plug-ins to improve your blog performance? Do you know how to activate the plug-ins? Every wise choice you make now is a future headache you will be spared.

There are chiefly two choices when it comes to blog hosting.

1) You may opt for a “free WordPress host.”
“Free blog hosting” offers to the blogger a few pool themes that are provided to all the free blog host users. Most free blog hosts offer very few WordPress plug-ins and/or widgets. Most free hosts require “upgrades” for any advanced options. These upgrades quickly amount to a bigger bill than a paid blog host would have charged you in the first place. The paid host would also have given you better hosting. The “free host” rarely offers the degree of functionality that paid blog hosting will. A paid blog host typically has to have a better grasp of the script itself.

2) You may decide upon paid blog hosting.
There are nearly 10,000 WordPress plugins, from basic statistics counters to highly complicated multi-use ones. A paid blog host will allow you to use most, if not all, of them and thus extend the WordPress platform to its full strength. In a competitive blog situation, these plug-ins can be vital to search engine optimization. Plug-ins make easier the once-complicated task of running a successful blog.

A paid web host will often have an easy set-up requiring little technical expertise. If you’re a technically sophisticated netizen, you can also find a paid blog host that offers all the bells and whistles you might prefer. Is your blog the start of a business or a part of an existing enterprise? Is it a personal blog? Will you be embedding video? What widgets and/or apps will you require? The great thing about WordPress is you’ll have those questions easily addressed. You will also have a remarkably straightforward set-up, no matter how complicated your blog.

Other pertinent hosting questions are the obvious ones. What size account will you need? Most quality web hosts have scalable options for every blog level. Under almost all circumstances, the openly marketed account options will be enough. However, all professional hosts can assist you in scaling up from there.

Does your web host tech know his stuff in terms of security? In as solid a platform as WordPress, that is not as critical an issue. The blog software itself does most of the sentinel stuff for the blogger.

In fact, all you have to do is blog!
