Hey there net fools, lets have a look at some of the more exciting match-ups this week in the NFL that are giving us favorable spreads
As you know, both wild-card races in the AFC and NFC are airtight at this point. And while Denver’s loss to the Houston Texans last night helped out the AFC picture a bit, things are still pretty crowded in both divisions as the fight for that coveted 2nd wild-card spot continues.
Game #1 – Baltimore Ravens (-4)
Ho boy, I am seeing some magic with the Baltimore Ravens playing on the road against the fierce Miami Dolphins squad. You have to wonder why the spread on this game is only four points. Sure, everyone hates on the Ravens now because they couldn’t pull out the win over New England and got absolutely stomped last week, but they’ve got their weapons (hello running game?) and a defense to match. They haven’t put out a team yet this season, expect that to happen in week 15.
Game #2 – Tennessee Titans (-4)
Do you see what I see? A playoff eligible Titans team Read the rest of this entry »

First the NFC, some great match-ups here, obviously highlighted in a clash between two of the arguably best in the NFL, yes I’m talking about the Dallas Cowboys (7-1) at the New York Giants (6-2). This game will determine who sits on top of the NFC East, and will be a real test for a Giants team who has faced a losing bunch in its past 4-5 games. I see the Giants coming out firing with an early score, but eventually they will be playing from behind in the forth quarter. Being a Giants fan myself, it’s hard to call this a loss… so I’ll sit here and hope for the best in a down-to-the-wire game. The Philadelphia Eagles (3-5) play on the road against rival Washington Redskins (5-3). I see the Eagles eeking out a win in a game that they honestly need a whole lot more than the Skins. In the NFC North, look for the Green Bay Packers (7-1) to be
upset by 6-point underdogs, the Minnesota Vikings (3-5)… oh and Adrian Peterson. With even odds, the Detroit Lions (6-2) rule the airways and defeat the Arizona Cardinals (3-5) on the road.
Let’s start it off in the NFL. Interesting match-ups, lets have a look. Cleveland Browns at St. Louis Rams should turn out to be the Rams first win of the season. The Browns may not be as bad as we thought they were when the season started, but the Rams have been so heavily denied that you gotta think they will break out soon; this is that week. The Detroit Lions could have some trouble with the staunch Chicago Bears defense on the road, but I see them rolling through this. Chicago could cause turnover problems, but I think they will miss opportunities as the Lions turn up the heat. The Indianapolis Colts shouldn’t have much trouble at all eating the Carolina Panthers alive this week on the road. With the first international game of the season, I see the New York Giants dominating the 0-7 Miami Dolphins on both ends of the field in London, rolling to a healthy 6-2. The 7.5 favorite Tennessee Titans should have plenty of trouble with the Oakland Raiders at home this week. Look for Oakland to at least cover the spread on this one. The Philadelphia Eagles get a much needed win over the Minnesota Vikings on the road this week. McNabb steps it up in the pocket and makes up for the Adrian Peterson factor. The Pittsburgh Steelers are only favored by 4 against the Cincinnati Bengals? You gotta be kidding me. Steelers blow this spread away three-fold. NY Jets get their second win of the season at home against the Buffalo Bills when Lee Evans cannot produce a second-straight stellar performance and L. Coles takes over. No betting line yet on the Houston Texans v. San Diego Chargers or the Jacksonville Jaguars v. Tampa Bay Buccaneers games. Any while the Chargers wrap up the Texans with a classic L.T. show, the Bucs will stun Jaguar fans
