The GPT world is filled with a lot of startup websites, most of which will run for small periods of time before shutting down. With that being said, it’s a little difficult to find a program that is going to hang around with the industry leaders. Recently, I came across a website called ProfileReward – a pretty interesting take on the “get paid to” programs in that it relies on social media rather than simple individual participation to get paid. Now, I must add that it doesn’t exactly rely on having a social media profile which was a bit confusing to me, but it’s still an interesting take on the typical GPT site.

How GPT Programs Work

Since I haven’t spoken about these programs in quite a while, when we start with a simple description of how these programs work. there’s an advertiser out there that needs to get their product out to the market, occasionally they use what are called “affiliate sales.” What this means is that companies essentially higher middlemen to sell their product for them, giving them a small percentage of the profits along the way. In this way, companies are able to sell more of their product and they were originally able to – so is essentially a win-win situation.

What a “get paid to” program does is essentially insert a middleman between the middleman. In other words, these companies go out and collect affiliate offers, store them all in one place and give you the opportunity to complete the offers yourself (that, or share the link with your own friends and capitalize on their referral). What happens now is that the GPT company receives the full affiliate commission fromthe client, however they give you a percentage of that gain so that both parties profit in the end. While you could theoretically go straight to the company and receive the full commission, the idea is that with more offers on the table, you will receive a better total benefit. These “get paid to” companies, therefore, make the affiliate market more efficient.

How ProfileReward Stacks Up

The first thing I noticed when I went to ProfileReward.com was that they have a very refreshing website template. It’s always nice to have a website that focuses on making the aesthetics clean, because you will likely be spending quite some time on the website. This is a website that has a lot of potential, and while I would recommend a slow and steady strategy when it comes to completing offers (because they have not had any track record of paying)… what I’ve seen so far is very promising. Currently, they are going through the process of adding offers, so there are sadly only around 20 right now to choose from. I’d imagine that this number increases dramatically over the next month. On the bright side, this does show you that the owner is showing discretion over which offers to take and which to leave out, which is always a good thing.

one of the best things about ProfileReward that they have a very extensive list of tutorials. In addition, they had a very young support  forum that could prove to be very useful in the future once business picks up. When you are looking for a new “get paid to” program, one of the first things that you should be considering is how much support they have. I would say that ProfileReward definitely ranks among the best, and is the particular area that they excel the most. In addition to the support features, the overall structure of the website is very easy to navigate and understand. They have a few bonus programs and even some contests running to encourage you to spend more time filling out offers. In other words, they’re really doing all they can at this point to attract new people to the website.

My Overall Conclusion

I have a pretty solid history of figuring out which “GPT” programs will make it, and which will end up failing. It is of the utmost importance that if you put time into completing offers, you can be assured that you will be getting paid at the end. Due to a lack of history of payments, it would be impossible for me to flat-out recommend ProfileReward as a place that you should pursue. However, I think that the owner has put a lot of time into the program, and even taking the initiative to go out to other websites and purchase reviews (like this one) is a step in the right direction.I say register an account at ProfileReward, fill out a few offers and see if they pay – because if they do, you will likely be getting a better payout here than at most other websites due to the relative age of the company.

After a few weeks of research and industry analysis, the 2009 GPT Power Rankings are based on personal experience, observations, community data, user opinion and hard facts. Get Paid To websites can be the biggest scams on the internet, or your best friend. All of the top ten are programs that I feel are best geared for 2009 and will end up paying you the most bang for your buck without risking a loss. We want as much upside as possible while limiting downside loss. Let’s have a closer look:

• Payout: This is a measure of the relative amount paid per offer. Since all GPT websites are paying you a percentage of their income for every survey you complete… the higher the percentage they offer, the higher their rank.
• Bonus: Most GPT programs nowadays provide extensive incentive programs to encourage user activity. The websites with the best bonus programs are oftentimes the most worth your time.
• Offers: Since making money with a “get paid to” program is largely a function of the number of available offers, I have analyzed which companies provide the most opportunities and ranked them accordingly.

Top “Get Paid To” Programs Analysis

Emerging as the top two programs on the internet, Cash Crate and Treasure Trooper have been stand-out leaders for the past two years. Now that things have consolidated in the industry, Cash Crate has emerged as the best GPT website on the internet because of their simplicity, consistency and high bonuses. Treasure Trooper is the next-best GPT website with a great “treasure hunt” contest and a user community that provides decent bonuses… though not near the level of Cash Crate.

Among the new contenders, I have been very impressed with the level of support and high payouts from Deal Barbie Pays, Gangster Greed and Squishy Cash. Deal Barbie and Squishy Cash have very similar models based off Shiftcode (which I don’t particularly like)… with Deal Barbie providing some amazing offers and bonuses to get the #3 slot on our ranking list. Before I start, I want to discuss SWATcash’s bonus and credit system. Not only can you earn cold hard cash, but you can earn “swatcash” to exchange for prizes later on like iPods, PayPal cash and gaming consoles. Every offer you complete on the site earns you at least one “bullet,” which you can use on the Artillery page once a day to “attack” other members using the website to steal their earned swatcash. So you can either complete offers expressly for swatcash, or earn “bullets” to attack others for their swatcash. It’s all a fantastic way to get money on top of money.

Account: The account page has all of your earnings and statistics inside. This is one of the most organized systems around, and you’ll find everything from what your referrals are earning, to the last time you’ve been paid. You can even track your individual payments! Swatcash allows you to donate a percentage of earnings to charity if you chose to, and you can see how you stack up to the top users in several categories from the “rank stats” section.

Earn: Here’s your offer-panel, where you find a full listing of all available and completed offers. These are all very well organized and sortable for your convenience. Additional ways to earn, other than completing offers, are as follows: completing the “circadian missions” every day (brief surveys for $1.00 each), participating in cash shopping (get paid a percentage of your order on various online shopping destinations), and pay to click (a new system that pays you just to click on banner ads). If you are an advertiser, you can even purchase your very own ads for display.

Artillery: So here’s where those “bullets” come into play that I described earlier. Additionally, you can win “grenades” by doing various things. Grenades act as “super bullets” and do that same thing, but win you more swatcash in the process. The Artillery page includes this daily attacking system to earn swatcash, and a display of all the awards you have won along your path to success. In addition, there is a way to exchange your money and battle points to swatcash.

Missions: Missions are a great way to earn easy money every day. This is an objective-based adventure that, once completed, allows you the opportunity to “crack the safe” once a day for free. This safe includes cash, swatcash and more… and can earn you some serious money. It even looks like a second mission is on the way!

Armory: Here’s where you take the swatcash you have racked up to exchange for prizes, I’d check this out yourself for all of the awesome prices you can win!

World Map: The world map is a move-based game run through the website that you can earn extra money on in the form of “battle points” (exchangeable for swatcash) without completing any offers at all. This is pretty hard to explain, so I’d give it a look yourself… its a great feature that no other GPT website has.

If all these features bogged you down, don’t worry… it sounds a lot more confusing than it is. Sign up, and have a look around! You’ll get a hang of it within minutes, and can earn insane bonuses with minimal work so you aren’t only earning more money than any other GPT website on a per-offer basis, you are earning the best bonuses in the business for extra money!

My final recommendation is for you to join the SWATcash forums. At the very least, sign up for SWATcash just to use the forums, there are ridiculous contests going on every month always with $10,000+ in value up for grabs. When I first saw this upstart GPT website, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Started up in October of 2007? This Site Is For Real looks like it has been around for years, and has the best referral system that I have seen to date. TSIFR has more offers than your typical website, and they all credit quickly. With this in mind:

Jimvesting gives ThisSiteIsForReal.com a 4-out-of-5 rating

This is one of the cleanest websites that I have seen as of late. The layout is very easy to understand, and you should have no difficulty finding your way around. As such a new business, ThisSiteIsForReal is one of the first that doesn’t try to bog you down with cluttered “stuff.” Having a website that is aesthetically pleasing is always one of my first signs of a rock-solid program.

Not only does it look good, they have a great amount of offers in stock that are updated frequently. This is more to say than those poser shiftcode (ew ) websites that really don’t have much of anything to offer you that you haven’t already seen. What’s even better is that the offers typically credit within minutes of your completion. And that’s just what we want!

This Site Is For Real is definitely what it says, and I have the payment to prove it. I was surprised to see a few claims that the website was “a scam” after searching around a bit. My advice to you? Don’t believe it. TSIFR is not a scam, and people that claim it is simply don’t understand how GPTs work… I noticed when checking back that the scam-claims were mostly based on unfounded accusations. This site is definitely for real, the Net Fool guarantees it.

Let’s get right down to the main attraction of the GPT, its massive referral system. Unlike all of the other GPT websites, ThisSiteIsForReal.com offers you a massive 6 referral levels. The most I have seen before is 3! This is definitely an advantage, especially after receiving 20% from your first-level members. I can imagine a few people having quite a network of automatic cash by abusing this. Definitely worth looking into.

By now you are wondering what their payment scheme is. Despite the fact that their only supported form of cashout at this point in time is by check, I think that the ultra-low minimum of just $10 completely makes up for this lacking. Keep in mind that this business is new. I would expect them to be adding some alternative methods of payment as things start to pick up. One thing I noticed that I haven’t seen anywhere else is their payment recording system. Not only do they record all your past payments, you can see when all of your checks will be mailed and even when all of your past payments were mailed. Easy to use, and no tricks here!

Downside? Sure, that’s why they didn’t get the perfect five. Essentially, my first issue was how young they are. I understand there is nothing they can do to speed the aging process, but I always reserve some judgment on these upstart websites, despite how good they might be. Other than that, I was a bit disappointed to see no contests going on in the support forums or on the website. I am a sucker for added incentives, and am hoping they start to add some once the user base increases. I would like to see alternative payment options (PayPal, Gift Card, etc), but overall am very satisfied with what they are offering.

If you want to be in on one of the newest and best performing GPT websites to make some extra cash from home, I do suggest that you try out ThisSiteIsForReal.com. Very friendly support, excellent offers, fast payouts and an easy to use interface make up for where they lack in a big way. Scam accusations are unfounded in my opinion, and you can ensure you’ll be paid on time, every time. This site really is for real.

ReelinCash is a brand new get paid to (GPT) website on the rise. But don’t mistake these guys for your typical “one-and-done” work at home website, ReelinCash is devoted to making money for their clients. How do I know this? Well the first indicator is that they are advertising, the problem with many GPT start-ups is a lack of initiative, ReelinCash has it! These guys are devoted to customer service, dedicated to quality and have already put out a few great contests/incentives to start delivering the goods.

Jimvesting gives ReelinCash a 3.5-out-of-5 rating

The only real downsides to ReelinCash are that it is based in ShiftCode (which we never like) and it is relatively new. However, they are really breaking down boundaries by providing awesome incentives, great support and competitive offer payouts. What I really like about ReelinCash is that they are working for you. These guys try their best to bring you the best service in the business. They put out a new contest featuring a Sony PSP Entertainment Package and $50 cash, and even started a “payment proof” forum that pays you to post proof!

Looking to the visual appearance of ReelinCash.com, I have found that the design is very well put together and extremely easy to navigate. Beginning users in the work at home industry won’t have a problem getting accustomed to the layout, and the colors are quite aesthetically pleasing… something that I think is a must in any website. The header is pretty creative and the overall theme fits the website well…”reelin cash” is put into a “fishing for cash”-esque design, which I like a lot. They’ve even got a stock-hold of FAQs to guide you on your way!

Let’s move on to the “earning” section of the website. Not much to see here, really your typical ShiftCode look at the members section… or is it?! ReelinCash has fully implemented a “games” section where you can earn additional money by playing games. What’s more, the easy to understand credit system at ReelinCash offers “hooks” for offers that you complete. These hooks are essentially just credits/tickets that you can collect and redeem for some great prizes like dvd’s, books and gift cards of your choice. Finally, they have an automatically-crediting “daily survey” program that allows you to complete surveys and make some easy extra cash.

One of the most obvious questions: how will I get paid. Currently, ReelinCash.com offers cashouts at just $15 minimum, a relatively low bargain price! The only problem here, in my opinion, is the lack of “check” as a payment method. They do offer PayPal, Barnes & Noble Gift Cards and TigerDirect.com Gift Cards, so the options are not too bad.

You can earn a pretty good amount from ReelinCash in the form of referral memberships as well. Everyone that signs up under you needs to complete just one offer to be considered “active” and you get 15% of everything that they earn… right off the bat! I would like to see some more creative banners to use, but they are doing well for a new company.

Finally, I want to touch on their support forum because it is one of the best I have seen. Since they are now so dedicated to growing, you are going to get that hands-on experience that you just won’t get anywhere else. They are extremely active in answering your questions, and have been nothing but helpful to me. Sure, there aren’t many members… but they are doing a solid job in creating demand.

Overall, if you want to make a lot of money using get-paid-to programs… I continue to stress the use of the Tier I work-at-home websites SWATcash, Treasure Trooper and CashCrate (especially SWATcash ). However, ReelinCash is doing a tremendous job in boosting popularity around their website and encouraging user interaction.
