Welcome to Jimvesting.com. My name is Jim Regan, owner of JRR Enterprises and the administrator of this website. I wanted to set this page aside to get you guys a bit more info about myself and this popular “make money online” blog. We’ve been around for four years and plan to continue providing people around the world the means to turn their time into cash!
The Blog’s Founding… In Brief
I’m a 20-year old student of Finance at Penn State University, and started blogging when I first arrived at college in October of 2007. Initially, the blog was set to be more of a resource website than anything else… but after seeing some solid feedback, I have decided to turn my gaze upwards. To answer your question: yes, I DO in fact make money online. The amount I make largely being a function of how much I work. As this online money-making lifestyle is not at all priority number one (as it is for many of my fellow marketers)… I don’t pull copious amounts of revenue, although my gains are consistent and I am fully confident I could make a great living completely online. Currently, I try to post every day, and am an active recruiter of RSS subscribers. 
Why The Stock Market?
I’ve been involved with the stock market over the past four years, and have been in positions where I have managed over $400,000 in investor capital in stock portfolios. While I started out just like everyone else with a personal trading account at Scottrade, I’ve developed quite a knack for this stuff and have been in communication with some of the most renowned investors on Wall Street as my interest in investing has grown.
Over the past two years, I ran a small online investment research company Bullish Bankers LLC. With that, we provided free research articles to investors around the world. This was a great experience, and a shining example of how you can converge your interests into one profitable venture using blogging and MMO tips like you will find at Jimvesting.com. We sold the company in January of 2010.
I do NOT offer any formal stock buy/sell recommendations on this website, and anything that I send out as investing research is just that… research! Please do not make any formal investment decisions before consulting with your financial adviser. That being said, I never offer “trading” advice, and anything that I put out will be with the intent for it to be an “investment”… meaning long term. I’m a buy & hold kind of guy, and I’ve had a lot of big winners in the past so hopefully you can take my stock pitching advice and get some great “jimvestments!” 
So What About Making Money Online?
On the “work at home” / “make money online” front, I have always been a bit of an entrepreneur. I actually intended to just make this a stock market blog, but I then realized that I just loved creating wealth too much to pass up an opportunity to help other people get rich. Knowing this, I have owned a web hosting and design company, several small affiliate marketing ventures, a “get paid to” service and am active in several more undisclosed endeavors to turn profit through the internet. I believe that the field of making money online is cluttered with people that don’t know what they are doing. So sign up and let me walk you through it!

Non-Business Related Chatter
In my spare time, I run long-distance (former cross country runner), lift weights and participate in intramural sports. I’d consider myself a n intermediate guitarist and musician (also play clarinet and sing). Additionally, I am in a few organizations, and like to stay concentrated on my classwork as well. I don’t have a lot of free time with all of this… so I compensate with less sleep and more caffeine.
Make no mistake about it, I’m here to make money and make you wealthy (…or at least wealthier). You should be able to learn a lot by following along, and hopefully we can all grow in knowledge together. If you have any questions or comments, please drop me a line!
